Airports Authority of India (AAI), Regional Headquarters (Northern Region), a Schedule 'A' Miniratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, has invited applications for AAI NR Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27 for 205 seats under Advertisement No. 01/2026/APPRENTICE/GRADUATE/DIPLOMA/ITI/NR. Monthly stipend ranges from ₹9,600 for ITI Trade Apprentices to ₹15,000 for Graduate Apprentices, split between AAI's contribution and the Government's Direct Benefit Transfer share. Qualification
Graduate Apprentice: full-time (regular) 4-year Degree in Engineering in the notified streams, recognized by AICTE. Diploma Apprentice: full-time (regular) 3-year Diploma in Engineering in the notified streams, recognized by AICTE. ITI Trade Apprentice: ITI/NCVT certificate in the notified trades, from an institution recognized by AICTE. Candidates must have passed their degree/diploma/ITI in 2024 or after, and must be domiciled in one of 11 eligible North Indian states/UTs. This is an Apprenticeship Training Program under the Apprentices Act, 1961, not regular employment, and carries no assurance of a job on completion.

Eligibility
- Full-time (regular) 4-year Degree in Engineering for Graduate Apprentices, 3-year Diploma in Engineering for Diploma Apprentices, or ITI/NCVT certificate in the notified trades for Trade Apprentices, all AICTE-recognized
- Only Indian Nationals domiciled in Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, or Uttarakhand may apply
- Candidates must have passed their qualifying degree/diploma/ITI in 2024 or after 2024
- Age limit is 18 to 26 years as on 16 September 2026, with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates
- Candidates who have already completed an apprenticeship, terminated one midway, or are currently pursuing apprenticeship elsewhere are not eligible
- Candidates with 1 year or more of apprenticeship/job experience after attaining the essential qualification are not eligible, per the Apprentices Act, 1961
- A candidate applying for more than one discipline will not be considered, and such applications will be rejected
- This apprenticeship carries no assurance of regular employment; AAI has no obligation to offer a job on completion of training

- Trade (ITI) Apprentice: ₹9,600/month fixed stipend
