Bank of India has released the notification for 779 Credit Officer posts across three scales — MMGS-II (Manager), MMGS-III (Senior Manager), and SMGS-IV (Chief Manager) — under the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream. This is a lateral/experienced-hire recruitment for professionals with banking credit and risk management experience. Selected officers will handle credit appraisal, loan processing, NPA management, and corporate credit at branches and zonal offices across India. Selection through online examination, psychometric test, and interview. The salary ranges from ₹64,820 to ₹1,20,940 basic pay depending on the scale — these are among the highest-paying bank officer posts available through direct recruitment.

Graduation from a recognized university. Post-Graduate Degree/Diploma in Finance/Banking/Management preferred. CA/CMA/CS also eligible. Must have relevant banking/credit experience — MMGS-II: 2 years, MMGS-III: 5 years, SMGS-IV: 7 years.
