Women and Child Development (WCD) Department, Government of Rajasthan has released the Barmer Anganwadi Bharti 2026 notification for 111 posts of Anganwadi Worker (Karyakartri) and Anganwadi Helper (Sahayika) across multiple Child Development Project (CDPO) offices in Barmer district. These are Rajasthan state government community-level posts on voluntary honorarium basis open exclusively to women candidates who are residents of the respective Anganwadi Centre's Gram Panchayat or ward. Eligible women candidates from Barmer district can apply offline through the respective CDPO office before 06 August 2026.
Selected Anganwadi Workers will run the Anganwadi Centre, oversee pre-primary education, nutritional activities, and health and immunisation programs for children aged 0–6 years and pregnant/lactating mothers in their local area. Selection is based on merit (marks in qualifying examination) without a written test. The honorarium for Barmer Anganwadi Worker 2026 is ₹5,000 per month and for Anganwadi Helper is ₹3,300 per month as per WCD Rajasthan rules.
