Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, has released the Bombay High Court Swayampaki (Cook) Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. Admin/1420/2026 dated 17 August 2026 for 18 posts. This is a Class IV support-staff government job opportunity in Maharashtra's judicial administration, with 17 candidates to be placed on the selection list and 4 on the waiting list, including 1 post reserved for persons with disabilities. Candidates aged 18 to 38 years (up to 43 years for Backward Class candidates), who have passed at least Class 4 and can read, write and speak Marathi and Hindi, are eligible to apply offline through Speed Post. Selected candidates will work as Swayampaki (Cook) at the Bombay High Court, Aurangabad Bench, preparing vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes for the court's kitchen needs. The minimum educational qualification is a pass in Class 4 (4th standard). Candidates who have cleared a higher qualification (10th, 12th, or diploma) but do not possess a 4th standard mark sheet must enter a notional/assumed score of 50% (50 out of 100) for the 4th standard qualification while filling the application. Candidates holding a recognised "Cook Course" certificate or diploma will be given preference. The candidate's character and conduct must be good, and the candidate must have practical knowledge of and experience related to cooking, including the ability to prepare all types of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Candidates must be able to read, write and speak both Marathi and Hindi.

• Backward Class Candidates: Maximum 43 years
• Court/Government Employees: No upper age limit, provided they apply through the proper channel/office

• Passed at least Class 4 (4th standard); notional 50% score applies if the 4th standard mark sheet is unavailable but a higher qualification is held
• Ability to read, write and speak both Marathi and Hindi
• Practical knowledge of and experience in cooking, including preparation of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes
• Preference given to candidates holding a recognised Cook Course certificate/diploma, or with 1+ years of experience as a cook/chef in a 4-star or 5-star hotel
• Age 18 to 38 years for General candidates, up to 43 years for Backward Class candidates, no upper limit for Court/Government employees applying through proper channel
• Good character and conduct, with a character certificate from two respectable persons required

Pay Matrix Level S-3 as per the 7th Pay Commission, in the range of ₹16,600 to ₹52,400 per month, along with other allowances admissible as per applicable rules.

1. Obtain the prescribed application format (Appendix "A") attached with the official advertisement on bombayhighcourt.gov.in
2. Fill in the application form completely and accurately, matching the spelling of your name with your educational certificates
3. Paste a recent passport-size colour photograph in the space provided on the application
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all required certificates: 4th/7th/SSC/HSC mark sheets, cook course certificate (if any), proof of date of birth, caste certificate, cooking experience certificate, Maharashtra Domicile Certificate, and Aadhaar Card copy
5. Attach a character certificate from two respectable persons (Format B), a Small Family declaration (Format A), and a No Objection Certificate if you are a government employee
6. Include a self-addressed envelope with postage stamp affixed, and one recent passport-size photograph
7. Write "Application for the Post of Swayampaki" clearly on the outer envelope
