Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released a new notification for 150 Police Sub Inspector (Daroga) posts in Bihar Police. This is a separate recruitment from the earlier BPSSC SI 2025 (1,799 posts, which is now in the PET/result stage). Online applications are accepted at bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Selection through Preliminary Examination (Written CBT), Mains Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET — 1600m run, high jump, long jump, shot put), Physical Standard Test (PST — height, chest), Medical Examination, and Final Merit List. Both male and female candidates can apply. Must meet prescribed physical standards.
Eligibility
* Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
* Age 20–37 years (Male) / 20–40 years (Female) as per notification date.
* Must meet physical standards — Height: Male Gen 165cm, Female Gen 155cm; Chest: Male 81cm (expansion 5cm).
* Indian citizen, preference for Bihar domicile for reserved category benefits.
