BPSSC Bihar Police Sub Inspector 2026 — Daroga, Bihar Police (150 Posts)

Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) has released a new notification for 150 Police Sub Inspector (Daroga) posts in Bihar Police. This is a separate recruitment from the earlier BPSSC SI 2025 (1,799 posts, which is now in the PET/result stage). Online applications are accepted at bpssc.bihar.gov.in. Selection through Preliminary Examination (Written CBT), Mains Examination, Physical Efficiency Test (PET — 1600m run, high jump, long jump, shot put), Physical Standard Test (PST — height, chest), Medical Examination, and Final Merit List. Both male and female candidates can apply. Must meet prescribed physical standards.

20–37 years (Male); 20–40 years (Female); relaxation per Bihar Govt rules (SC/ST/BC +5, PwBD +10, Ex-SM as per rules)

Pay Level 6, ₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/month + DA, HRA, TA, and other police allowances

3. Fill the online application form with personal, educational, and physical details.
4. Upload photo (3.5×4.5cm, 50KB), signature (3.5×1.5cm, 20KB), and documents.
5. Pay ₹700 (Gen/OBC) or ₹200 (SC/ST/Female) online and submit before 09 August 2026.
