BTSC Food Analyst 2026 — Bihar Food Safety Service (10 Posts)

The Bihar Technical Service Commission (BTSC) has released Advt. No. 24/2026 for 10 Food Analyst posts under the Bihar Food Protection Service, Health Department. This is a specialized post for candidates with a postgraduate degree in food science or related disciplines who have also qualified the FSSAI Food Analyst examination. Selection is through a Computer-Based Test (written exam) followed by a merit list. Reservation benefits apply only to permanent residents of Bihar.

Post-Graduate (Master's or Doctorate) in Chemistry, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, or Microbiology + must have passed the FSSAI Food Analyst examination

21–37 years (General); up to 40 (BC/EBC); up to 42 (SC/ST); as on 01 August 2026

• Post-Graduate degree (Master's or Doctorate) in Chemistry, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Science, Biochemistry, or Microbiology from a recognized university.
• Must have passed the Food Analyst examination conducted by FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India), New Delhi.
• Age 21–37 years (General); up to 40 (BC/EBC); up to 42 (SC/ST); as on 01 August 2026.

Pay Level-9 (7th CPC)

1. Go to btsc.bihar.gov.in and open the Food Analyst Recruitment (Advt. 24/2026).
2. Click "Apply Online" and register with basic details.
3. Fill the form, upload photo, signature, and required documents.
4. Pay ₹100 fee online and submit before 19 June 2026 (11:59 PM). Take a printout.
