CGPSC State Engineering Service Exam Date 2026 — 46 AE Posts, Exam 16 August (Chhattisgarh)

Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has issued the exam schedule notice for the State Engineering Service Examination 2026 under Advertisement No. 02/2026, covering 46 Assistant Engineer (Gazetted, Second Class) vacancies across Civil, Electrical and Mechanical branches. The schedule notice was published on 21 July 2026 and confirms a single written examination day for candidates who applied online between 13 May 2026 and 11 June 2026. The written examination will be conducted in two papers on the same day, with General Studies in the morning session and the Engineering subject paper in the afternoon session. Examination centres have been fixed in five district headquarters only: Sarguja, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg and Bastar. Eligibility for the post requires a BE or BTech degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with age calculated as on 01 January 2026 and relaxations applicable to Chhattisgarh local residents in the reserved categories.
