CGSSB Assistant Teacher Recruitment 2026 — 2,292 Sahayak Shikshak Posts

The Chhattisgarh Karmchari Chayan Mandal (CGSSB), formerly known as Vyapam, has released the Sahayak Shikshak (Assistant Teacher) Recruitment 2026 for 2,292 posts under the Lok Shiksha Sanchalanalaya, Chhattisgarh. The written examination is officially referred to as LSAT26. The vacancies are split into 795 posts in the E-Cadre and 1,497 posts in the T-Cadre, making this one of the largest teaching recruitment drives in the state this year. Selection is through an offline OMR-based written examination of 100 objective-type questions carrying one mark each, to be answered in two hours. There is a penalty of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer, and no marks for unattempted questions. The exam is provisionally scheduled for 11 October 2026 across 16 district headquarters in Chhattisgarh, with the admit card expected around 5 October 2026. Online applications open on 24 July 2026 and close on 21 August 2026 up to 5:00 PM, through vyapamcg.cgstate.gov.in or cgssb.cgstate.gov.in. A correction window follows from 22 to 24 August 2026. Candidates must complete profile registration on the portal, upload a photograph and signature, and pay the category-wise fee online. 2. Complete Profile Registration if not already registered on the portal
3. Upload a recent light-background photograph in JPG/JPEG format, 50 KB to 100 KB
4. Upload a scanned signature as a separate JPG/JPEG file, 50 KB to 100 KB
5. Fill in the online application form for the LSAT26 exam using your registered profile
6. Pay the applicable examination fee online as per your category
7. Click Submit to complete the application — it is complete only after submission
8. Use the correction window of 22 to 24 August 2026 if any error needs fixing
9. Download and print the submitted application form for future reference
10. Preserve the admit card even after the exam for document verification and joining
