CMHO Durg NHM 2026 — 107 Posts, Apply by 31 Jul (Chhattisgarh)

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Durg, has invited online applications for 107 contractual posts under the National Health Mission Chhattisgarh, advertised vide Advertisement No. NHM/HR/2026/860 dated 16 July 2026. The posts were approved under the Record of Proceedings for financial year 2024-26. Applications run at durg.gov.in from 17 July to 31 July 2026 up to 5:30 PM, and there is no application fee for local Chhattisgarh resident candidates. The 107 posts span 18 categories across a wide qualification range, which makes this notification unusually broad for a district health office. Class-IV accounts for 21 posts requiring only a 10th pass, Jr. Secretarial Assistant 17 posts, MPW (Male) 11 and Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse the largest single block at 30. At the other end sit single specialist posts including Clinical Psychologist at ₹23,000 and Programme Associate at ₹22,300. Honorarium across the notification runs from ₹8,800 to ₹23,000 with no additional allowances. Selection is by merit list built from qualification marks, experience marks and a skill or written test, with weightage differing by post group. Candidates must score at least 40 per cent in the skill test to enter the final merit list, and only those who actually appear are included. Screening is capped in proportion to vacancies: ten times the vacancies where 1 to 10 posts are advertised, five times where 11 to 50 are advertised. Experience marks favour serving NHM Chhattisgarh staff at 3 marks per year up to 15, against 2 marks per year up to 10 for others, and candidates who served at least six months as COVID-19 temporary health workers in Chhattisgarh government facilities may claim 10 bonus marks within that cap. Live council registration is mandatory for all nursing and paramedical posts.

• Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or GNM, with live Chhattisgarh Nursing Council registration
• 2nd ANM and ANM: 12th pass plus ANM course from an INC-affiliated centre, with live Chhattisgarh Nursing Registration Council registration
• MPW (Male): 10+2 with Biology plus a one-year Multipurpose Worker diploma, with Chhattisgarh Paramedical Council registration
• Jr. Secretarial Assistant: 12th pass with at least a one-year computer diploma
• Psychologist Clinical: M.Phil in Psychology, or M.A. or M.Sc. Psychology regular if M.Phil candidates are unavailable
• Programme Associate: MBA or PG Diploma in Management or Health Administration with minimum 1 year experience
• Accountant: M.Com or B.Com regular with minimum 50 per cent and compulsory Tally 9.0 knowledge
• Class-IV: 10th pass; Support Staff: 8th pass; Ward Assistant and Attendant: Higher Secondary with 1 year hospital experience
• Security Guard: 10th pass, minimum height 160 cm, physically fit, with 1 year mandatory security guard experience

• Live and permanent registration with the relevant Chhattisgarh Nursing or Paramedical Council is mandatory for Nursing Officer, Staff Nurse, ANM, MPW and Ophthalmic Assistant posts
• Original Chhattisgarh domicile certificate issued by a competent authority is required
• Reservation and horizontal reservation for women and persons with disabilities apply as per Chhattisgarh Government rules
• Reservation in this recruitment is subject to the final orders of the Supreme Court in SLP (C) No. 19668/2022
• PwD candidates need a valid UDID disability certificate showing more than 40 per cent disability
• Only experience with government, semi-government and government-financed institutions counts, evidenced by a certificate stating duration and office reference number
• Experience is counted only for completed 12-month periods in a single post at one institution
• Candidates currently employed in a government or government-financed institution must produce a No Objection Certificate
• These are transferable contractual posts; failure to join at the designated place within the stipulated time cancels the appointment

• Pharmacist: ₹16,500; Accountant: ₹16,000 per month
• TBHV and MPW (Male): ₹14,000 per month
• Dental Assistant, Ophthalmic Assistant, Jr. Secretarial Assistant, ANM: ₹12,000 per month
• Class-IV: ₹10,000 per month
• Ward Assistant, Support Staff and Security Guard: ₹8,800 per month
• No allowances or other facilities are payable in addition to the honorarium

2. Register with your mobile number to receive a registration number and password by SMS
3. Log in and read the notification guidelines in full before starting the form
4. Complete the online application accurately, since the merit list is built from the details you enter and errors cause automatic rejection
5. Click Save Application, review every field, then click Final Submit
6. Take a printout of the submitted application and sign it
7. Upload the signed printout back onto the portal, as applications without this are treated as incomplete and rejected with no appeal
8. Upload the final-year marksheet showing all years' marks, or all year-wise marksheets
9. Upload experience certificates and any COVID-19 duty certificate together with the corresponding appointment order
10. Submit before 31 July 2026 at 5:30 PM and retain a copy of the signed application, which is mandatory at document verification
