CMHO Raipur NHM 2026 — 206 Posts, Walk-in from 28 Jul (Chhattisgarh)

The Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, District Raipur, has notified 206 contractual vacancies across 33 post categories under the National Health Mission, vide Reference No. N.H.M./H.R./2026/22562 dated 17 July 2026. There is no online application: recruitment runs entirely by walk-in, staggered post-wise from 28 July to 31 August 2026. Contracts run from the date of appointment to 31 March 2027, renewable on annual performance review, governed by the NHM Chhattisgarh Human Resource Policy 2018. Community Health Officer dominates the notification with 52 posts under the AAM and HWC programme, followed by MPW (Male) with 16, Staff Nurse for the 30-bedded paediatric ward with 15, and three blocks of 12 each covering Staff Nurse for the 12-bedded HDU and ICU, Nursing Officer under NPHCE, and ANM under NUHM. Remuneration runs from ₹8,800 for housekeeping support staff to ₹31,500 for Sr. Nursing Officer and Clinical Psychologist. Each post carries its own fixed walk-in date, and missing it means missing the recruitment. Jr. Secretarial Assistant LDC opens on 28 July, Community Health Officer sits on 3 August, MPW (Male) on 5 August, Class-IV on 6 August, and the schedule closes with Nursing Officer NMHP and Cold Chain and Logistic Assistant on 31 August. Skill-test posts are held at Government Girls Polytechnic College, Byron Bazar, and all remaining posts at the Government Nursing College, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Smriti Medical College. Reporting is by 9:00 AM, with registration and document verification from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, scrutiny until 2:00 PM, objections from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, resolution from 3:00 to 4:00 PM, and the written or skill examination from 4:30 to 5:30 PM. Merit combines educational qualification weighted at 65 per cent, or 85 per cent for Class-IV and Support Staff, plus experience marks and a 20-mark written or skill test requiring 30 per cent for general candidates and 20 per cent for SC, ST and OBC.

• Nursing Officer and Staff Nurse: B.Sc. Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or GNM with live CG Nursing Council registration
• Sr. Nursing Officer: M.Sc. Psychiatric Nursing, or B.Sc. Nursing with Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing, Council registration mandatory
• RMA: Practitioner in Modern and Holistic Medicine course, registered with the Chhattisgarh Medical Council
• ANM and 2nd ANM: 12th pass with ANM course from an INC-affiliated centre and live CG Nursing Registration Council registration
• MPW (Male): 10+2 with Biology plus one-year Multipurpose Worker diploma, registered with CG Paramedical Council
• Laboratory Technician: D.M.L.T., B.M.L.T. or paramedical course in Pathology with CG Paramedical Council registration
• Clinical Psychologist: M.Phil in Clinical Psychology, or M.A./M.Sc. Psychology or M.A. Rehabilitation Psychology with RCI registration and 2 years in a mental health setting
• Data Handler: 12th pass or 10th with two-year diploma, plus one-year Data Entry or Programming diploma, 8000 key depressions per hour in Hindi and English, and 2 years experience
• Class-IV: 10th pass; Support Staff and Class-4 MSSK: 8th pass, the latter with 2 years experience

• Candidates must be local residents of Chhattisgarh, verified by a local resident certificate at document verification

• Live registration with the relevant CG Nursing, Paramedical or Medical Council is mandatory for applicable posts
• Screening is capped at 10 times the vacancies for 1 to 10 posts, 5 times for 11 to 50 posts, and 3 times for 50 and above
• Experience marks are 2 per year up to 10 for general candidates, 3 per year up to 15 for serving NHM staff, and 4 per year up to 20 for ANM or GNM trained Mitanins who completed the course by 31 December 2017 with State Health Resource Centre certification
• Only government, semi-government and government-funded experience relating to the applied post is valid; certificates showing overwriting are invalid and must carry the employer's email and phone number
• A one-time 10-mark bonus applies to COVID-19 temporary health workers who served 6 months in Chhattisgarh government health institutions, for Class III and Class IV posts
• Candidates employed in government, semi-government or private institutions must submit a No Objection Certificate
• The recruitment is subject to the final order of the Supreme Court in SLP (C) No. 19668/2022

• Posts with salary up to ₹25,000 per month: Divyangjan, SC, ST and Women ₹100, OBC ₹200, Unreserved ₹300
• Posts with salary above ₹25,000 per month: Divyangjan, SC, ST and Women ₹200, OBC ₹300, Unreserved ₹400
• Payable only by Demand Draft from a nationalised bank in favour of Jila Swasthya Samiti, Raipur
• DDs in any other name are not accepted and the fee is non-refundable
• DD number, date and amount must be written into the application form, and applications without the DD are rejected

• No allowance or facility beyond the fixed monthly remuneration is payable

3. Complete the application form, affix a self-attested passport photograph and sign the declaration
4. Obtain a Demand Draft for the correct amount from a nationalised bank in favour of Jila Swasthya Samiti, Raipur
5. Write the DD number, date and amount into the application form
6. Attach self-attested photocopies of all marksheets, council registration, caste certificate, local resident certificate and experience proof
7. Carry originals of every document alongside the self-attested copies on the day
8. Report by 9:00 AM to Government Girls Polytechnic College, Byron Bazar for skill-test posts, or the Government Nursing College at Pt. J.L.N.M. Medical College for all others
9. Complete registration and document verification between 9:00 and 11:00 AM, then remain for the written or skill examination from 4:30 to 5:30 PM
10. For each additional post, submit a separate application with a separate DD and attend on that post's own scheduled date
