Qualification
- District Child Protection Officer: PG in Social Work, Sociology, Child Development, Human Rights, Public Administration, Psychology, Psychiatry, Law, Public Health or Community Resource Management, with 3 years of relevant government/NGO experience and computer proficiency.
- Protection Officer (Institutional / Non-Institutional Care): PG in the same subjects, or a degree in them with 2 years of project, monitoring or supervision experience; computer proficiency.
- Legal cum Probation Officer: LLB from a recognised university with 2 years of experience in legal matters, preferably on women's and children's rights; Bar Council enrolment where applicable.
- Counsellor: Degree in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Public Health or Counselling, or PG Diploma in Counselling & Communication, with 1 year of experience.
- Social Worker (Male / Female): Degree, preferably BA in Social Work, Sociology or Social Sciences, with computer proficiency.
- Accountant: Degree in Commerce or Mathematics with 1 year of accounts experience and Tally; Data Analyst: Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or BCA.
- Assistant cum Data Entry Operator: 12th pass with a computer diploma/certificate; Outreach Worker (Male / Female): 12th pass with good communication skills.
- Qualifications and experience must be held as on 08.10.2026 and are not relaxable; higher qualifications in the same subject are accepted.
Age Limit
- Completed 21 years and not completed 35 years as on 01.10.2026
- SC / ST / BC: 5 years relaxation
- Persons already working in the Unit: relaxation equal to their service period
Eligibility
- Post-specific qualification from 12th pass (Outreach Worker, DEO) to PG with 3 years of experience (DCPO)
- Age: 21 to 35 years as on 01 October 2026, with 5 years relaxation for SC/ST/BC
- Social Worker and Outreach Worker posts are gender-specific (one post each for men and women)
- Jangaon district locals under the Telangana Public Employment Order 2018 are selected first
- Study certificates for Classes I–VII or a Tahsildar residence certificate required to prove local status
- Experience must be backed by appointment orders and proof of payment
- Only one post per candidate; applications not accepted at the DWO office or the Unit
- Written test with ¼ negative marking; up to 10 extra marks for experience in some posts
- Police antecedent verification before appointment
- Post nature: contractual with the District Child Protection Society, renewable yearly, with no right to regularisation
