Qualification
- Associate Professor (56 posts): PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, Master's degree with minimum 55% marks, minimum 8 years' teaching/research experience as Assistant Professor with at least 7 peer-reviewed/UGC-listed publications, and a total research score of 75
- Professor (30 posts): Either an eminent scholar with PhD, minimum 10 research publications, research score of 120, 10 years' teaching experience with successful doctoral guidance; OR an outstanding professional with PhD and 10 years' relevant experience with documented contribution to the field
- Departments covered (both posts): Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Genetics, Geology, Hindi, Linguistics, Operational Research, Philosophy, Zoology
Eligibility
- PhD in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline (mandatory for both posts)
- Associate Professor: Master's with 55% marks, 8 years' experience, 7+ publications, research score 75
- Professor: 10 years' experience, 10+ publications, research score 120, with doctoral guidance or documented professional contribution
- 5% relaxation (55% to 50%) for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD at Bachelor's/Master's level
- Only UGC-CARE list or SCOPUS-indexed publications considered for research score
