ESIC Ludhiana Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 — 108 Posts, Walk-in 12 Aug (Punjab)

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, has released Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident Recruitment 2026 under Notification No. Z/121/2023-MED ADMN-Part(1) for approximately 108 posts on a contract basis. • Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor: Qualification as per latest NMC (National Medical Commission) norms for the concerned specialty
• Tutor: MD in the concerned subject
• Senior Resident (SR3, superspeciality departments): MD/MS in a broad specialty
• Senior Resident/Assistant Professor (Emergency Medicine): MD/MS in Emergency Medicine, Orthopaedics, Surgery or Anaesthesia, or 2 years' post-MBBS experience in these branches including 1 year in emergency medicine
• Senior Resident (where no MD/MS candidate available): MBBS with 2 years' experience in the relevant branch

• Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor/Tutor): Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview
• Senior Resident: Not exceeding 45 years as on date of interview
• Age relaxation as per Government of India norms

• Teaching Faculty (Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): Qualification per latest NMC norms for the concerned specialty
• Tutor: MD in the concerned subject
• Senior Resident: MD/MS in a broad specialty, or relevant post-MBBS experience where specified
• Age not exceeding 69 years (Teaching Faculty) or 45 years (Senior Resident) as on date of interview
• Contractual appointment, initially 1 year extendable up to 3 years
• Retired/currently working Professors also eligible to apply for eligible posts

• SC/ST/ESIC Regular Employee/Female Candidate/Defence Ex-Servicemen/PH Candidate: Nil
• All other categories: ₹500 (via Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1", payable at Ludhiana)

• Professor: Basic pay ₹1,23,100 (Level 13) plus allowances, gross approx. ₹2.5 lakh
• Associate Professor: Basic pay ₹78,800 (Level 12) plus allowances, gross approx. ₹1.7 lakh
• Assistant Professor / Senior Resident (SR3 and SR1): Basic pay ₹67,700 (Level 11) plus allowances, gross approx. ₹1.45 lakh
• Tutor: Basic pay ₹56,100 (Level 10) plus allowances, gross approx. ₹1.2 lakh

1. Download the prescribed Application Form (Performa) for the specific post from the official notification
2. Attach self-attested scanned copies of all supporting documents, including educational certificates, registration certificate, experience certificates and publications where applicable
3. Prepare a Demand Draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1", payable at Ludhiana, if the application fee is applicable
4. Email the completed application and documents, mentioning Name, Post Applied and Department in the subject line, by 08 August 2026
5. Submit a separate application for each post applied for, using the prescribed Performa only
6. Report in person for the walk-in interview on 12 August 2026 between 09:00 AM and 10:00 AM
