Office of the District Programme Officer, Etah (Bal Vikas Seva evam Pushtahar Vibhag, U.P.) has released the Anganwadi Karyakartri (Worker) and Sahayika (Helper) Recruitment 2026 for 263 government job vacancies — 133 Karyakartri and 130 Sahayika posts — spread across nine Bal Vikas Pariyojana areas in Etah district: Aligunj, Awagarh, Jaithra, Jalesar, Marahra, Nidhauli Kalan, Sakit, Sheetalpur and Etah Shahar. Only female candidates who are permanent residents of the concerned ward or gram sabha and have passed Intermediate (12th) are eligible to apply. Selected Anganwadi Karyakartris and Sahayikas will deliver early childhood care, nutrition and health services under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme within their local ward. The selection process is entirely merit-based as per the U.P. Government Order dated 17 September 2025, following a fixed order of preference favouring widowed and divorced/deserted women from BPL families first — no written examination or interview is conducted.
