Gauhati HC Judicial Assistant Interview 2026 — 5 Posts, Viva 22 Aug (Itanagar)

Gauhati High Court, the High Court of Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh, has issued Notification No. HC.XXXVII-51/2025/252/R.Cell dated 23 July 2026 calling shortlisted candidates for the Interview and Viva-voce, the final stage of direct recruitment to 5 posts of Judicial Assistant at the Itanagar Permanent Bench. The notification is issued in continuation of the Court's earlier notification No. HC.XXXVII-51/2025/150/R.Cell dated 12 May 2026, under the original recruitment advertisement dated 19 November 2025. The Interview and Viva-voce will be held on Saturday, 22 August 2026, with reporting from 10:00 AM onwards. The venue is the precincts of Gauhati High Court, Itanagar Permanent Bench, D Sector, Naharlagun, District Papumpare, Arunachal Pradesh, PIN 791110. One point candidates must not overlook: no individual call letters will be issued in any mode, so shortlisted candidates are responsible for tracking the notification themselves and appearing on the date without waiting for a personal intimation. Candidates must carry the following in original along with one clear set of self-attested photocopies: the written examination admit card, age proof showing date of birth such as the 10th standard admit card or birth certificate, marksheets and pass certificates for 10th standard, 12th standard and graduation, certificates for any additional qualification declared in the application, APST certificate for candidates claiming that reservation, disability certificate for PwBD candidates, work experience certificate if any, and a No Objection Certificate from the present employer for candidates serving in Central or State Government or PSU. Self-attested photocopies must be handed over at document verification. The Court has stated that being called for interview is purely provisional, that candidature may be rejected at any stage on detection of ineligibility, and that no TA or DA will be paid for attending.
