Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT), Pantnagar, has invited applications under Employment Notice No. A-32/2026 for 45 SC/ST/OBC backlog teaching posts — 28 Associate Professor and 17 Assistant Professor, across the College of Agriculture, Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Community Science, Basic Sciences and Humanities, Technology, and Fisheries. These are backlog vacancies reserved exclusively for SC, ST and OBC candidates; Uttarakhand reservation benefits apply only to Uttarakhand permanent residents. Candidates holding a Ph.D. with 8 years' experience (Associate Professor) or a Master's with NET/SLET/SET (Assistant Professor), per discipline, can apply offline by 21 October 2026, 5:00 PM. Selected faculty will teach at GBPUAT's Pantnagar campus, research centres, or Krishi Vigyan Kendras across Uttarakhand. The selection process for Associate Professor is Academic/Research Score Assessment, Shortlisting (10x for the first vacancy, 5x per additional vacancy), and an Interview (20 marks); for Assistant Professor, Academic Score-based Shortlisting followed by Interview, with an optional written examination or presentation.
