GPSC Deputy Section Officer & Deputy Mamlatdar Final Result 2026 — 102 Selected

Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined Competitive Examination (Main) for the posts of Deputy Section Officer, Class-III and Deputy Mamlatdar, Class-III under Advertisement No. 08/2025-26. The result was published on 18 July 2026 vide Notification No. APE-08/2025-26-Main-CNF. The Mains examination was held from 20 to 22 February 2026, and the Common Paper in Gujarati and English covering Advertisement Nos. 67 and 127/2024-25 and 08/2025-26 was conducted on 22 February 2026. The notification recommends 102 successful candidates for appointment, listed in Annexure-I Part-I, while 1,590 unsuccessful candidates are listed separately in Annexure-I Part-II. Merit was determined on aggregate marks obtained in the Mains written examination, subject to a minimum qualifying standard of 400 marks for General category candidates. The marking scheme awarded 1.000 mark for each correct answer with a deduction of 0.300 mark for an incorrect, multiple-encoded or blank answer, so candidates recalculating their score should account for the negative marking on unattempted questions as well. Bonus marks were applied where eligible, specifically 5 per cent of marks obtained for widow candidates and for candidates with sporting qualifications, in accordance with the relevant Government Resolutions.
