GSRTC Driver 2026 — Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (4,599 Posts)

Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has released a recruitment notification for 4,599 Driver posts on a direct recruitment (fixed pay contract) basis. Selected candidates will drive GSRTC buses across Gujarat's extensive road network, appointed on a 5-year contract at ₹26,000/month. After satisfactory completion, they become eligible for regular appointment under GSRTC's prevailing pay scale. Candidates must hold a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License and PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Badge issued by the Regional Transport Office. Selection is through OMR-based Written Examination and Driving Test followed by Document Verification.

10th pass (SSC) from a recognized board + valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HVL/HMV) issued by RTO + PSV Badge

18–35 years as on last date of application; relaxation per Gujarat rules

• 10th pass (SSC) from a recognized board.
• Must hold a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HVL/HMV) issued by RTO.
• Must hold a valid PSV (Public Service Vehicle) Badge.
• Age 18–35 years (relaxation per Gujarat Govt rules).
• Adequate knowledge of Gujarati language.

₹500 + GST (Unreserved); ₹200 + GST (Reserved SC/ST/SEBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-SM)

Fixed pay ₹26,000/month for 5-year contract; eligible for regular appointment after satisfactory completion

1. Go to ojas.gujarat.gov.in and select GSRTC Driver 2026.
2. Register and fill the online application form.
3. Upload photo, signature, driving licence copy, and other documents.
4. Pay fee online and submit before 05 July 2026 (fee by 07 July).
