HP SET Result 2026 — HPPSC State Eligibility Test, 1,983 Qualified (Himachal Pradesh)

The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) has declared the HP SET Result 2026 for the State Eligibility Test held on 7 June 2026. Yes, the HP SET 2026 result is out — it was announced on 27 July 2026, and candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their qualification status on the official website hppsc.hp.gov.in. The result has been released as a subject-wise list of qualified roll numbers across 22 subjects. A total of 1,983 candidates have been declared qualified in HP SET 2026. The subject-wise breakup includes Life Sciences 298, Political Science 287, History 171, English 157, Commerce 152, Hindi 141, Chemical Sciences 110, Mathematical Sciences 108, Economics 97, Physical Sciences 94 and other subjects such as Education, Environmental Science, Sociary and Computer Science. Qualified candidates become eligible to apply for Assistant Professor and lecturer positions in Himachal Pradesh, subject to the norms in the official press note. HPPSC has clarified that it reserves the right to rectify any inadvertent or technical error in the result at a later stage. Candidates can download the official HP SET Result 2026 PDF from hppsc.hp.gov.in and search for their roll number under the relevant subject using Ctrl+F. Details regarding SET certificate issuance, cut-off marks and further eligibility criteria are not included in this press note and will be published separately by the Commission.
