• Desirable qualification for all posts: knowledge of the customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh, and suitability for appointment in the state's specific conditions
• Documents required at the application stage: Matriculation certificate for age proof, Bachelor's degree certificate with mark sheets of all years or consolidated mark sheet, and valid category certificate(s) where applicable
• Bonafide Himachali Certificate mandatory for candidates applying under reserved categories, along with a valid EWS/BPL Certificate where relevant
• Ex-Servicemen Discharge Certificate/Service Book required where the Ex-Servicemen relaxation is claimed

2. Click on the "Apply Online" link on the homepage
3. Click on "One Time Registration (OTR) for Examinations" and complete New Registration if not already registered
4. Log in to your OTR account and select the relevant advertisement from the list of live advertisements
5. Fill the online application form with personal, educational and other required details accurately
6. Upload the requisite documents as specified in the advertisement, including your Matriculation certificate and Bachelor's degree mark sheets
7. Confirm the declaration regarding the uploaded documents
8. Pay the examination fee of ₹600 online via Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or other prescribed digital modes
9. Review all filled details carefully before final submission, since applications through any mode other than the official portal will not be accepted
