HPSC Assistant Professor Result 2026 — 160 Recommended, 4 Subjects (Haryana)

Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) declared results on 23 July 2026 for four Assistant Professor (College Cadre) posts under the Higher Education Department, Haryana. The four subjects and their advertisement numbers are Mathematics under Advt No. 56/2024, Psychology under Advt No. 63/2024, Commerce under Advt No. 44/2024, and Music (Instrumental) under Advt No. 57/2024. A total of 160 candidates have been recommended across the four subjects: 137 in Commerce, 16 in Mathematics, 5 in Music (Instrumental) and 2 in Psychology. Each subject carries its own separate result PDF on the HPSC website. Candidates should note that HPSC has described every one of these recommendations as provisional. Selection is subject to verification of essential qualification, degree and caste certificates by the Higher Education Department, and is further subject to the outcome of a large number of pending writ petitions before the courts. The Commerce result alone is subject to the final outcome of writ petitions including CWP Nos. 13329/2025, 8615/2025, 6455/2025, 22831/2025, 38030/2025 and several others. Results for 8 posts in the Unreserved category, 3 in EWS, 1 in BCB and 1 in ESM-BCB have been withheld pending court cases or clarification from the Government, and Mathematics roll number 13774 has been specifically marked as withheld. HPSC has also stated that although due care was taken in preparing the results, the possibility of inadvertent error cannot be ruled out and the Commission reserves the right to rectify any error at a later stage. Recommended candidates should keep original certificates of essential qualification, degree and caste ready for departmental verification, since final appointment depends on that verification and on the resolution of the pending litigation.
