HSSC Haryana Group C Jail Warder & Asst Superintendent 2026 — Prisons Department (1,238 Posts)

The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released Advt. No. 06/2026 for 1,238 Group C posts in the Haryana Prisons Department — Warder and Assistant Superintendent Jail. This recruitment is open ONLY to candidates who have already qualified the HSSC CET Group C examination. No separate written exam will be conducted — selection is based on CET Group C merit score, physical standard test, and document verification. Must meet physical standards (height, chest) as specified for prison staff. Haryana domicile is mandatory. No application fee for any category. Apply through the HSSC One Time Registration (OTR) portal before 30 June 2026.

12th pass (Intermediate) from a recognized board + must have qualified HSSC CET Group C. Must know Hindi/Sanskrit at Matric level. Haryana domicile mandatory.

18–42 years; relaxation per Haryana Govt rules

• 12th pass (Intermediate/HSC) from a recognized board.
• Must have qualified HSSC CET Group C (mandatory prerequisite).
• Must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit up to Matric level.
• Must be domicile/permanent resident of Haryana.
• Must meet physical standards: Height and Chest measurements as per Prisons Department norms.
• Age 18–42 years (relaxation per Haryana Govt rules).

2. Log in with existing OTR credentials.
3. Select Advt. No. 06/2026 (Jail Warder / Asst Superintendent) and fill the application.
4. No fee required — submit directly before 30 June 2026.
