ISRO URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 — 410 Posts, Apply by 28 August (Karnataka)

U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), a lead centre of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) under the Department of Space, has released the URSC Apprentice Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. URSC:03:2026 for 410 apprentice vacancies at its Bengaluru campus. The engagement covers three streams — 220 Graduate Apprentice (B.E./B.Tech.) posts, 120 Technician Apprentice (Diploma) posts, and 70 Commercial Practice Apprentice posts. As the centre responsible for building India's satellites, URSC offers apprentices rare hands-on exposure to the country's space programme, making this one of the most sought-after Karnataka Sarkari Naukri 2026 opportunities for fresh engineering and diploma graduates. Selected apprentices undergo a structured 12-month training period governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961. The monthly stipend is ₹12,300 for Graduate Apprentices and ₹10,900 for Technician and Commercial Practice Apprentices. The URSC Apprentice 2026 online application is available from 29 July 2026 to 28 August 2026 through a two-step process on the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in followed by the UMANG portal. Only Indian nationals who passed their qualifying examination between 2022 and 2026 as regular candidates are eligible, and only one application per email ID is permitted. • Graduate Apprentice (220 posts): B.E./B.Tech. in the concerned discipline — Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering & Management, Automobile, Aeronautical, or Aerospace Engineering — from a recognised university
• Technician Apprentice (120 posts): Diploma in the respective discipline — Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Instrumentation Technology, or Automobile Engineering — from a recognised State Board
• Commercial Practice Apprentice (70 posts): Diploma in Commercial Practice from a recognised Board
• Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination as regular candidates in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026. Those who passed before 2021 are not eligible. Sandwich course, private college, and short-term/certificate qualifications are not accepted.

As per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Amendment Act, 1973. No specific upper age limit stated in the notification.

• Technician Apprentice (Diploma): ₹10,900 per month

1. Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at https://nats.education.gov.in and register or enrol as a candidate
2. Upload the Degree/Diploma certificate as applicable and a valid government-issued ID during enrolment
3. Note the Enrolment Number / Apprenticeship Registration Number generated after successful NATS registration
4. Visit the UMANG portal at https://web.umang.gov.in/landing/ and register or log in
5. Search for "URSC Apprenticeship" on the UMANG portal
6. Click Apply for Position and fill in all required details, compulsorily including the NATS Enrolment Number
7. Upload the required documents — photograph (max 50 KB), signature (max 50 KB), certificates, and caste/EWS/disability certificate as applicable
8. Review all entered details carefully, as no changes are allowed once the application is submitted
9. Submit the application before the closing date and save a copy for future reference
10. Keep all original documents ready for verification, since any mismatch with the online application will result in rejection
