Karimnagar Anganwadi Teacher Recruitment 2026 — 60 Posts, Apply by 15 Aug (Telangana)

The Department of Women Development, Child Welfare, Disabled and Senior Citizens Welfare (WCD&SC), Karimnagar District, Government of Telangana, has released Anganwadi Teacher (AWT) Recruitment 2026 under Notification No. A1/1124/2026-27 dated 31 July 2026, for 60 posts under the Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) scheme. Vacancies are spread across four ICDS projects — Gangadhara, Huzurabad, Karimnagar Rural, and Karimnagar Urban. Selected Anganwadi Teachers will work at Anganwadi Centres across Karimnagar district, delivering early childhood care and education under the ICDS scheme. Selection is purely merit-based out of 100 marks — 70 marks from Intermediate academic score, plus additional marks for Widow (5), Orphan (10), and Disabled/Divyang (5) categories, with 10 marks at the District Selection Committee Chairman's discretion. Each vacancy is restricted to women candidates from the local area — Gram Panchayat for rural centres, ward for urban centres — of that specific Anganwadi Centre.
