KEA Agriculture Officer & Assistant Agriculture Officer 2026 — Karnataka (945 Posts)

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released revised notifications for 945 Agriculture Officer (128) and Assistant Agriculture Officer (817) posts in the Karnataka Agriculture Department under RPC and Kalyana Karnataka regions. Selection is through a competitive written examination (offline OMR mode) followed by a Kannada Language Test. Exams are scheduled for 25–26 July 2026. Negative marking applies (0.75 marks per wrong answer). Candidates must score minimum 35 marks to qualify.

B.Sc Agriculture / B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture / B.Tech in Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, or Biotechnology (or other specified agriculture-related degrees)

Up to 40 years (General); 43 (OBC/2A/2B/3A/3B); 45 (SC/ST) — relaxation per Karnataka rules

• B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, B.Tech in Food Technology, Agricultural Engineering, Biotechnology, or other specified agriculture-related degrees from a recognized university.
• Age up to 40 years (Gen), 43 (OBC categories), 45 (SC/ST) per Karnataka rules.
• Must know Kannada (Kannada Language Test is part of selection).
• Can apply for both RPC and KK cadres separately.
