Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bengaluru has released a recruitment notification for 2,314 Special Reserve Police Constable (SRPC) posts in Karnataka State Reserve Police (KSRP), under the Home Department, Government of Karnataka. This is one of the largest police recruitment drives in Karnataka in 2026, offering candidates with a 12th Pass qualification an opportunity to join the state's law enforcement forces. KSRP provides armed police support across Karnataka for law and order, VIP protection, election duties, and disaster response. Candidates who meet the physical and educational eligibility criteria can apply online through the KEA portal before 10 August 2026. The selection process will include a Written Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST), and document verification. Candidates are advised to start physical preparation alongside exam preparation.
