The Office of the District Basic Education Officer, Banda, has released the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Recruitment 2026 for 77 vacancies across Principal, PGT Teachers, Computer Science Teacher, Care Taker, Lab Assistant, Office Superintendent/Clerk, Assistant Cook, Peon, and Watchman posts for the 2026-27 academic session. Selected candidates require qualifications ranging from Class 8 pass for support staff roles to Postgraduate degrees with B.Ed. for teaching posts, with only women candidates eligible. Salaries range from Rs. 6,433 to Rs. 30,000 per month depending on the post, with selection through a weighted merit score for teaching posts and interview for Assistant Cook, Peon, and Watchman posts. • Principal: Trained M.Ed. or M.A./M.Sc. in relevant subject with 4 years teaching experience for classes 9-12
• PGT (Hindi/English/Mathematics/Biology/Chemistry/Physics): M.A./M.Sc. in relevant subject with B.Ed.
• Computer Science Teacher: M.Tech/B.E./B.Tech (CS) with M.Sc./MCA or equivalent
• Care Taker: Postgraduate degree with B.Ed.
• Lab Assistant: High School (Science) with laboratory diploma, or Intermediate (Science)
• Office Superintendent/Clerk: Intermediate with Computer Science, or computer certificate, with typing speed 25 wpm Hindi/30 wpm English
• Assistant Cook, Peon, Watchman: Class 8 pass

• Principal: 30 to 45 years as on 01 April 2026
• All other posts: 25 to 45 years as on 01 April 2026

• Class 8 pass to Postgraduate with B.Ed., post-dependent
• Only women candidates
• Age 25 to 45 years (30 to 45 years for Principal)

• No application fee (self-addressed envelope with Rs. 58 postage stamp required)

• Principal: Rs. 30,000 per month
• PGT (all subjects): Rs. 22,000 per month
• Care Taker: Rs. 24,200 per month
• Office Superintendent/Clerk: Rs. 12,430 per month
• Lab Assistant/Peon/Watchman: Rs. 7,147 per month
• Assistant Cook: Rs. 6,433 per month

4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all educational, training, and category certificates
