The walk-in interview runs across two days at Hotel – The Shanti Naturecure on Ganga, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand: 07 September 2026 for Deputy General Manager/S&T, Sr. Project Manager/S&T and Project Engineer/S&T (AUTOCAD), and 08 September 2026 for Senior Technician, Technician and Cook, with registration between 09:00 Hrs and 12:00 Hrs on the respective date. Candidates should be prepared to stay a minimum of 2 days if required, entirely at their own cost, since KRCL pays no TA/DA or fare for attending.

• Deputy General Manager/S&T: Full-time regular Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology (Electrical/Electronics/IT/Communication/Computer Science/Civil/Mechanical), or M.Sc. Electronics, or AMIE, or B.Sc. Physics, with minimum 10 years' experience (Graduates) or 14 years' (Diploma holders) in erection, installation, testing & commissioning of Signal & Telecom Systems
• Sr. Project Manager/S&T: Same qualification streams, with minimum 5 years' (Graduates) or 8 years' (Diploma holders) relevant experience
• Project Engineer/S&T (AUTOCAD): Same qualification streams, with minimum 2 years' relevant experience; AUTOCAD experience mandatory
• Senior Technician / Technician: Full-time regular ITI/NCVT trade in any discipline (Technician: 10th pass also accepted), with minimum 3 years' experience in wiring, termination, installation, testing & commissioning of Signal & Telecom Systems; AUTOCAD experience desirable
• Cook: Minimum 7th pass, with minimum 2 years' cooking experience across North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, Bengali, Punjabi, Maharashtrian and Continental cuisines, handling a kitchen for up to 10 persons

• Not more than 50 years as on 01 June 2026 for all candidates
• Relaxed up to 65 years for retired Railway officials
• Discretionary relaxation for Ex-Servicemen based on relevant experience
