Overview
The Karnataka State Police (KSP) has released two notifications for a combined 3,991 Civil Police Constable posts — 596 under the Kalyana Karnataka cadre (Article 371-J) and 3,395 under the Mikkili (Okkalida) cadre across various districts. The written examination will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). Selected candidates undergo 9 months of basic foundation police training, followed by a 2.5-year probation period. Must be proficient in Kannada.
Eligibility
* PUC (12th / Class 12) or equivalent from any recognized board.
* Age 18–33 years (with relaxation per Karnataka rules).
* Must meet physical standards — Males: minimum 168 cm height, 86 cm chest with 5 cm expansion; Females: as per notification.
* Must be proficient in Kannada (Kannada Language Test is part of selection).
* Indian citizens only.
