Overview
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) declared the provisional result of the Compulsory Kannada Language Test on 23 July 2026. The test was held on 19 July 2026 for candidates seeking the Civil Police Constable post with the Karnataka State Police, along with various Group A and Group B positions across Karnataka government departments, corporations and boards. The paper carried a maximum of 150 marks. This is a qualifying paper, not a merit paper. It applies only to candidates who did not study Kannada as a first or second language up to class 10, and clearing it does not contribute to final selection ranking. Candidates who qualify become eligible for the KSP Constable written examination scheduled on 02 August 2026, after which physical tests and document verification decide the final merit for this Karnataka sarkari naukri recruitment. Check your provisional result at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea using your application number and date of birth. The objection window against the provisional scorecard closes on 25 July 2026 at 10:30 AM and is online only. Objections must carry supporting documents, as those filed without them will not be considered, and only disputes about calculation of marks or the provisional score are entertained at this stage. Answer key objections are closed, the key having been issued on 19 July with the revised version published on 22 July 2026.
