Overview
The Office of the District Programme Officer, ICDS, Meerut, has invited online applications for 313 Anganwadi Sahayika, or Helper, posts across the urban and rural Bal Vikas Pariyojanas of Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh. The notification was released on 21 July 2026 under Uttar Pradesh Government Order No. 1/1092245/2025/3313/58-1-2025 dated 17 September 2025. Applications open on 22 July and close on 11 August 2026 at midnight, online only through upanganwadibharti.in. The vacancies span 13 projects. Shahar, the urban project, carries the largest share at 82, followed by Daurala with 37, Mawana 28, Hastinapur 26, Sarurpur 20, Jani 19, and Rajpura and Kharkhauda with 18 each. Machhra has 17, Parikshitgarh 15, Gramin Meerut 14, Sardhana 12 and Rohta 7. Village Sabha and ward-wise vacancy details with reservation are displayed on the notice boards of the District Collectorate, Vikas Bhavan, Tehsil and Development Block offices in Meerut, and uploaded to the departmental website. Only female candidates may apply, and each must be a permanent resident of the specific Gram Sabha, or ward in urban areas, in which the post falls vacant. Applications from any other Gram Sabha or ward are not treated as valid, so identifying the right unit before applying is the single most important step in this Uttar Pradesh sarkari naukri process. There is no written examination: a district-level Selection Committee prepares a merit list from educational qualification alone, and its decision is final. Caste and residence certificates are accepted only if issued online at Tehsil level with a digital signature and verifiable online, and income certificates only if issued by a Tehsil-level competent authority. There is no correction facility after submission, so errors must be avoided at the filling stage.
