NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2026 — 16 Posts, Apply by 26 Oct

NABARD Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 04 is out for 16 cyber security and IT audit specialist posts. The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) is hiring on contract for its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) office and its DoS-CSITE (supervision) department at the Head Office in Mumbai. The posts include 3 SOC Analysts, 3 Information Security Analysts, 2 each of Lead Auditor, Cyber & Network Security Specialist, IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist and Cyber Security Analyst, and 1 each of Network Security Analyst and Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester. Pay is set as a consolidated annual package, from ₹12–18 lakh for SOC and Information Security Analysts to ₹35–40 lakh for the Lead Auditor, with up to 10% annual increments, NABARD quarters or a 10% HRA, but no PF, pension or gratuity. The contract runs for 2 years and can be extended a year at a time up to 5 years. Candidates need an engineering, MCA or IT postgraduate degree along with recognised security certifications such as CEH, CISA, CISSP, CCNP or OSCP. Selection is through shortlisting at a 1:3 ratio, a personal interview and a pre-recruitment medical examination. The fee is ₹850 plus GST for General, OBC and EWS candidates and ₹150 plus GST for SC, ST and PwBD. Of the 16 posts, 15 are unreserved and 1 is reserved for OBC.

• SOC Analyst: BE/B.Tech (CS, CE, IT, E&C, IS, Electrical, Cyber Security), MCA or relevant PG with 60%, plus CompTIA Security+, CEH or equivalent
• Information Security Analyst: Same degree, plus CISA, CISM, CISSP or equivalent
• Network Security Analyst: Same degree, plus CCNP Security or equivalent network security certification
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: Same degree, plus CEH, OSCP, ECSA or equivalent
• Lead Auditor: BE/B.Tech (CSE, ECE, IT) or any bachelor's with Master's in CS/IT/ECE, plus CISA and CISSP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer
• Cyber & Network Security Specialist: Same degree, plus CISA and one of CCNA, CCNP, CEH or CISM
• IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: Same degree, plus CISA and one of CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor or PCI DSS certification
• Cyber Security Analyst: Same degree, plus one of CEH, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, Oracle/MS SQL DB or AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle cloud certification
• Post-wise experience as specified in the NABARD advertisement

• SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst: 24 to 35 years as on 01.10.2026
• Network Security Analyst: 26 to 38 years
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: 25 to 35 years
• Lead Auditor, Cyber & Network Security Specialist, IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: 30 to 45 years (Lead Auditor 32 to 45)
• Cyber Security Analyst: 24 to 32 years

• BE/B.Tech in CS, IT, E&C, Electrical, Cyber Security or related branches, or MCA / relevant PG with 60%
• Post-specific certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCNP, OSCP or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
• Age between 24 and 45 years as on 01 October 2026, depending on the post
• Post-wise experience as specified in the advertisement
• Employees of government, PSUs or nationalised banks must produce an NOC at the interview
• Pre-recruitment medical fitness required
• Contract engagement for 2 years, extendable up to 5 years

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹850 (₹700 application fee + ₹150 intimation charges) plus GST
• SC / ST / PwBD: ₹150 (intimation charges only) plus GST

• Lead Auditor: ₹35 lakh to ₹40 lakh per annum
• Cyber & Network Security Specialist, IT Infrastructure & Banking Specialist: ₹30 lakh to ₹35 lakh per annum
• Network Security Analyst: ₹18 lakh to ₹25 lakh per annum
• Ethical Hacker & Penetration Tester: ₹15 lakh to ₹24 lakh per annum
• Cyber Security Analyst: ₹18 lakh to ₹20 lakh per annum
• SOC Analyst, Information Security Analyst: ₹12 lakh to ₹18 lakh per annum
• Consolidated contract pay with up to 10% annual increment; quarters or 10% HRA; no PF, pension or gratuity
