North Eastern Institute of Ayurveda & Homoeopathy (NEIAH), Shillong, an autonomous institute under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has released NEIAH Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. EST-13019/1/2024-Administration Division/H-673 for 21 Teaching and Non-Teaching posts. Qualification
- Professor (Ayurveda) — 05 posts (Rasa Shastra, Panchakarma, Prasuti Tantra & Stri Roga, Dravyaguna, Shalakya Tantra): Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda recognised under the IMCC Act 1970, with 13 years combined teaching/research experience and requisite research publications
- Associate Professor (Ayurveda) — 04 posts (Roga Nidan, Kayachikitsa, Kaumarabhritya, Samhita & Siddhanta): Post Graduate Degree in Ayurveda with prescribed teaching/research experience
- Associate Professor (Homoeopathy Allied Subjects) — 03 posts (Obstetrics & Gynecology, Anatomy, Physiology): Post Graduate Degree in Homoeopathy or the relevant Medical subject with prescribed teaching/research experience
- Remaining posts (Medical Specialist cadre — Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, Surgical Specialist, Paediatrician, Radiologist and allied posts): Post Graduate Medical Degree (MD/DNB) recognised under the IMC Act with prescribed post-PG experience in the relevant specialisation
- Mode of filling: Deputation, failing which Direct Recruitment, or Direct Recruitment as specified per post in the official notification
Age Limit
- Maximum 55 years of age for Professor and Associate Professor posts
- Relaxation as per Government of India rules for reserved categories
