NIT Agartala JRF Recruitment 2026 is out. The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Agartala, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has released a walk-in notification under an ANRF-sponsored research project for the engagement of one Junior Research Fellow (JRF) or Project Assistant (PA) in Chemistry. This is a research opportunity for chemistry postgraduates to work at a premier NIT in Tripura. Eligibility for the JRF position requires an M.Sc. in Chemistry/Applied Chemistry with a valid CSIR-UGC NET and/or GATE qualification, while the Project Assistant position requires an M.Sc. in Chemistry or an equivalent degree. The JRF fellowship is ₹37,000 per month plus 10% HRA, and the Project Assistant remuneration is ₹30,000 per month plus 10% HRA. Selection is through a walk-in interview.
