NIT Warangal Recruitment 2026 — Legal, Food Safety, Counsellor

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, has released the Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. NITW/Rec./On Contract/2026 for 3 contractual posts — Visiting Consultant (Legal Advisor), Food Safety Officer and Student Counsellor. • Visiting Consultant (Legal Advisor): Advocate with minimum 3 years' standing at the Bar with expertise in service matters at the Telangana High Court/Central Administrative Tribunal, Telangana Circle, OR a retired Central/State Government officer not below the rank of Under Secretary with at least 3 years' experience in legal matters
• Food Safety Officer (On Contract): Bachelor's degree in Food Technology with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA/UGC point scale, or an equivalent qualification notified by the Central Government/FSSAI; Master's degree in Food Safety/Food Science or Diploma/Certificate in Food Safety/Quality Management desirable; minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in food safety or quality control
• Student Counsellor (On Contract): B.A./B.Sc. (Psychology) with Diploma in Counselling and 3 years' experience, OR M.A./M.Sc. (Psychology) with 2 years' experience, OR MBBS with Master's/Diploma in Psychiatric Medicine and 1 year's experience, in providing counselling to students at educational institutes

• Visiting Consultant (Legal Advisor): Advocate with 3+ years standing at the Bar in service matters, or a retired Government officer (Under Secretary rank or above) with 3+ years legal experience
• Food Safety Officer: Bachelor's in Food Technology (60%+) or equivalent, with 5 years post-qualification experience in food safety/quality control
• Student Counsellor: Psychology/MBBS background with counselling qualification and 1-3 years of student counselling experience depending on qualification level
