LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent law degree from a recognised university. Advocate/Pleader (including Government Pleaders and Public Prosecutors) with minimum 7 years or more of continuous practice at the Bar, or Judicial Officers with combined experience of 7 years or more as Advocate or Judicial Officer. Must be enrolled with Bar Council of Bihar or any State Bar Council.

• Age: Minimum 35 years and Maximum 50 years as on 15 May 2026
• Age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per Bihar Government / High Court rules
• Indian citizenship mandatory
• Must not have been punished for any professional misconduct by the Bar Council
