• Microbiologist: MBBS with MD/DNB in Medical Microbiology/Lab Medicine, or M.Sc. in Medical Microbiology/Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biomedical Sciences with a PhD, plus at least 3 years clinical microbiology laboratory or public health programme experience
• Veterinary Officer: Postgraduate veterinary degree in Veterinary Public Health/Epidemiology/Medicine/Microbiology/Preventive Medicine/Pathology, with Veterinary Council registration, plus at least 1 year post-qualification experience in Veterinary Public Health, Epidemiology, or Animal Health
