Rajasthan State Eligibility Test SET 2026 — Assistant Professor Eligibility Exam, RSMSSB (Apply by 15 July)

The Rajasthan State Eligibility Test (SET) 2026 notification has been released by the Rajasthan Subordinate and Ministerial Services Selection Board (RSMSSB) for determining the eligibility of candidates for appointment as Assistant Professor / Lecturer in degree colleges and other higher educational institutions in Rajasthan. The last date to apply is 15 July 2026. Rajasthan SET is one of the key eligibility tests for candidates aspiring to teach in Rajasthan's government and private colleges. Candidates holding a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/PwD/Transgender candidates) from a UGC recognised university are eligible to apply. Rajasthan SET is conducted in multiple subjects and consists of two papers — Paper I (General Knowledge, Research Aptitude, Teaching Aptitude) and Paper II (Subject-specific). Candidates who qualify the Rajasthan SET become eligible for appointment as Assistant Professor without further eligibility tests for a lifetime (subject to UGC regulations). Since today is 14 July and the last date is 15 July (tomorrow), candidates should apply immediately at the official RSMSSB portal.
