REC Advisor (Green Hydrogen & CBG) 2026 — 2 Posts

REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, has released a recruitment notification under advertisement number RECL/HR/Rectt./Consultant/2026/1141 for 2 Advisor posts on a contractual basis. The vacancies are for one Advisor (Green Hydrogen) and one Advisor (Compressed Biogas - CBG), to be engaged at the Corporate Office in Gurugram or New Delhi. The engagement is aimed at experienced retired professionals from the power and energy sector. Each Advisor assists REC in the appraisal, technical due diligence and risk assessment of Green Hydrogen or CBG projects proposed for financing, covering market assessment, technology evaluation, cost and bankability analysis, and risk mitigation. The engagement is contractual for six months, extendable based on the Corporation's requirement, and carries a monthly remuneration of ₹2,00,000 along with other benefits as per Corporation policy. Applicants must have a relevant engineering or management qualification along with 30 years of total experience, including at least 10 years in the specific technology domain. The post is open to individuals who retired or separated at the level of E-9 and above in a CPSE, or Joint Secretary level and above in the Government of India, subject to a maximum age of 65 years as on 15 August 2026.
