SCR Apprentice Merit List 2026 — 6,940 Shortlisted for DV, 2,801 Posts

The Railway Recruitment Cell, South Central Railway (RRC SCR), Secunderabad, has released the Act Apprentice Merit List 2025-26 along with the Document Verification (DV) Notice on 24 July 2026, under Notice No. SCR/P-HQ/RRC/111/Act.App/2025-26. The merit list relates to the recruitment of 2,801 Act Apprentices across trades such as Fitter, Electrician, Welder, AC Mechanic, Carpenter, COPA and Diesel Mechanic under the Apprentices Act 1961. A total of 6,940 candidates have been shortlisted for Document Verification — 2,604 in the Main List (Annexure-I) and 4,336 in the Standby List (Annexure-II). Selection is purely merit-based, calculated on the average of 10th (Matriculation, minimum 50% aggregate) and ITI percentage marks with equal weightage; there is no written test or interview. Document Verification is scheduled from 10 August to 14 August 2026 across multiple venues. Shortlisted candidates can download the merit list PDF and DV notice from the official South Central Railway website, scr.indianrailways.gov.in, under the RRC-SCR section, and check their application number in the Main or Standby List. Candidates must carry all original certificates — education, ITI, caste, EWS, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and medical fitness — along with two self-attested photocopies of each. Missing documents may lead to rejection of candidature.
