Shivamogga District Court Peon Recruitment 2026 is open for 56 Peon vacancies under Notification No. ADM.DJS.16342/2026 dated 20 July 2026, issued by the Office of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Shivamogga. The posts are to be filled by direct recruitment across the various courts falling under the Shivamogga District and Sessions Court unit, following directions from the Karnataka High Court and the State Government orders governing reservation and recruitment. Minimum 18 years. Maximum 35 years for General category, 38 years for Category 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B, and 40 years for SC, ST and Category-1. A one-time additional relaxation of 5 years in the maximum age limit is granted to candidates of all categories as per Government Order dated 29.01.2026. Further relaxation applies for serving and former government employees up to years of service or 10 years whichever is less, ex-servicemen for service years plus 3 years, persons with disabilities 10 years, widows 10 years, released bonded labourers 10 years, and Census Department employees for service years or 5 years whichever is less, under the Karnataka Civil Services (General Recruitment) Rules, 1977.

• Category certificate from a competent authority must be dated on or before the last date of application for any reservation claim
• General-merit candidates claiming rural category reservation must hold a Creamy Layer certificate
• Candidates already serving in State or Central Government or a PSU must produce a No Objection Certificate under Rule 11 if selected
• Where SSLC marks are recorded as grades or CGPA, a marks-conversion certificate from the competent authority must be obtained before the last date

Pay scale of ₹27,000-650-29,600-725-32,500-800-35,700-900-39,300-1,000-43,300-1,125-46,675 per month, plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance and other allowances applicable to Karnataka State Government employees.
