Overview
Sikkim Public Service Commission (SPSC) has released notification for 69 Village Level Worker (VLW) posts under the Rural Development Department, Government of Sikkim. Village Level Workers (Gram Sevaks) serve at the grassroots level, implementing rural development schemes including MGNREGA, PMAY, SBM, and agricultural extension programs across Sikkim's villages. Selected candidates will be posted in rural areas across all four districts of Sikkim — East (Gangtok), West (Gyalshing), North (Mangan), and South (Namchi). This is a permanent state government position. Selection through Written Examination and Interview.
Eligibility
* B.Sc Agriculture from a recognized university or equivalent ICAR-approved agricultural degree.
* Age 18–30 years (relaxation per Sikkim Govt rules).
* Sikkim domicile / Certificate of Identification (COI) holder preferred for reservation.
* Indian citizen.
