Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an Autonomous Society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, has released STPI Apprentice Trainee Recruitment 2026 under Advertisement No. 7(1)/I/STPI-HQ/2026-27 for 15 Apprentice Trainee posts under the Apprenticeship Act-1961, for a one-year duration, across 10 STPI centres — HQ, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Guwahati, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Noida, Mohali and Pune. Candidates aged 18 to 32 years (category-specific), holding a B.Tech/B.E in Electronics/Electrical/ECE/Telecommunications/Computer Science/IT, or a Bachelor's degree in Arts/Commerce/Administration, completed in June 2021 or later, can apply online via the NATS portal and stpi.in from 14 September 2026 to 30 September 2026. Selected Apprentice Trainees will undergo one year of practical training at their assigned STPI centre, gaining exposure to the organisation's IT/electronics infrastructure and administrative functions. The selection process is Shortlisting based on Interview performance, depending on discipline-wise vacancies — there is no written examination. Stipend for STPI Apprentice Trainee 2026 is ₹15,000 per month for B.E/B.Tech candidates and ₹12,300 per month for Arts/Commerce/Administration candidates, with the Screening-cum-Selection Committee able to offer up to ₹20,000 per month based on interview performance, disbursed via Direct Benefit Transfer through the NATS portal. 1. Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal at https://nats.education.gov.in — mandatory before applying through STPI's portal.
2. On the NATS Portal, go to the "Student" section, click "Enroll," confirm eligibility, and proceed to the Enrollment Form.
3. Fill in personal information — name, date of birth, gender, email, mobile number — and create a login ID and password; enter your Aadhaar number and other required identification details.
4. Fill in educational details — highest qualification, institution name, year of passing, and percentage/CGPA.
5. Fill in communication and bank details — address and bank account details (account number, IFSC code, bank name) for stipend processing.
6. Review and submit the NATS registration form; a unique Student Enrolment ID will be generated and emailed to you.
7. Visit STPI's Web Portal under the Career Section at www.stpi.in and fill the online application for Apprentice Trainee, mentioning your NATS Enrolment ID.
8. Submit the completed application on or before 30 September 2026; applications received after the last date will not be considered.
