Overview
The Department of School Education, Government of Telangana, has activated the hall ticket download link for the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test – In-Service Teachers-2026 (TGTET-In-service Teachers-2026) on the official portal, tgtet.aptonline.in. In-service teachers working in Government, Local Body, and other notified or specified institutions in Telangana who applied for Paper I (Classes I-V), Paper II (Classes VI-VIII), or both, can now download their hall ticket using their Aadhaar Number, Journal Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth. The TGTET In-Service Teachers 2026 exam is conducted as a Computer-Based Test (CBT), with each paper carrying 150 objective-type questions to be completed in 150 minutes, and no negative marking. This qualification is valid only for continuation in service or promotion of existing in-service teachers in Telangana, and cannot be used for direct recruitment to new teaching posts. The exam is scheduled to run across five days, from 7th to 11th September 2026, with the result expected between 28th and 30th September 2026. To download the TGTET In-Service Teachers 2026 hall ticket, candidates should visit the official portal at tgtet.aptonline.in, enter their 12-digit Aadhaar Number, Journal Number (generated at the time of fee payment or application), registered Mobile Number, and Date of Birth in DD/MM/YYYY format, then submit the form to generate the hall ticket. Candidates should download the hall ticket and take at least 2-3 printouts for exam-day use and record purposes, and carefully check their name, photograph, signature, exam date, shift, and exam centre before the exam.

Exam Day Instructions
Before Exam Day
- Check name, photograph, signature, exam date, shift and exam centre carefully on the hall ticket
- Contact the TGTET Cell immediately if any discrepancy is found in the hall ticket
- Take at least 2-3 printouts of the hall ticket for exam-day use and record purposes
- Candidates unable to download the hall ticket should contact the Director, SCERT and Ex-Officio Director, TGTET, Hyderabad, in person between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM on working days
On Exam Day
- Reach the exam centre well before the reporting time specified on the hall ticket
- Carry the printed hall ticket along with a valid original photo ID proof
- Follow all exam-day instructions issued by invigilators at the CBT centre
Not Allowed in the Exam Hall
- Mobile phones and other electronic or communication devices
- Calculators, textbooks, notes or any printed material
- Bags, purses or other personal belongings beyond permitted items
Admit Card Download Problems
- Hall ticket not generating — recheck Aadhaar Number, Journal Number, Mobile Number and Date of Birth for typing errors
- Unable to download — contact the Director, SCERT and Ex-Officio Director, TGTET, Hyderabad, in person between 10:30 AM and 5:00 PM on working days
- Name or photo mismatch on hall ticket — contact the TGTET Cell immediately for correction before the exam date
