The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has released the notification for 10 Assistant Director of Town Planning posts in the Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, Government of Telangana. This is a Group A/B officer-level post with salary up to ₹1,37,050/month. Selected officers will work on town planning, urban development, master plans, layout approvals, and building regulations for municipalities and urban local bodies across Telangana. Selection through Written Examination and merit-based final selection.

B.Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) OR M.Plan (Master's in Town/City/Urban Planning) OR equivalent from a recognized university with COA/ITPI registration where applicable.

18-44 years as on 01/07/2026; relaxation per Telangana Govt rules (SC/ST/BC/EWS +5 years, PwBD +10 years)

• B.Arch OR M.Plan (Town/City/Urban Planning) from a recognized university.
• Registration with Council of Architecture (COA) / Institute of Town Planners India (ITPI) where required.
• Age 18-44 years as on 01/07/2026 (relaxation per TS rules).
• Telangana local status preferred.

₹1,000 (OC/BC); ₹500 (SC/ST/PwBD) + ₹120 examination fee

₹58,850 – ₹1,37,050/month (Group A/B officer pay scales) + DA + HRA + allowances
