Unnao Anganwadi Karyakartri 2026 — 336 Posts, Apply by 11 Aug (UP)

The Office of the District Programme Officer, Unnao, Uttar Pradesh has invited online applications for 336 vacant posts of Anganwadi Karyakartri under the Child Development Projects running in Unnao district, vide Ref No. C-719 dated 21 July 2026. Recruitment is by direct selection under the Government Order dated 17 September 2025 governing the selection of Anganwadi Karyakartris and Sahayikas, and is open only to female candidates. The 336 vacancies are spread across 17 Child Development Projects, with 184 Unreserved, 80 OBC and 72 SC posts. Sikandarpur Karan carries the largest allocation at 46 posts, followed by Bichhiya with 33 and Auras with 29, while Unnao Shahar has the fewest at 7. Applicants must be permanent residents of the specific Gram Sabha or urban Ward in which the vacant post falls, so candidates cannot apply for a centre outside their own residence area. There is no written examination. Merit is determined on marks obtained in Intermediate, Graduation and Post-Graduation, and among eligible candidates from the same Gram Sabha or Ward, selection follows a fixed priority order: widow BPL candidate first, then divorced or deserted BPL, then BPL, then widow APL, then divorced or deserted APL, and finally APL. Offline forms submitted in any other mode will not be accepted under any circumstances. Only residence and caste certificates carrying an online digital signature from the Tehsil and verifiable online will be accepted, and income certificates must be issued by a competent authority under the applicable Uttar Pradesh Revenue Department order. Widow candidates must produce a certified copy of the death certificate along with the family register from the Gram Panchayat Officer or municipal body, and divorced or deserted candidates must produce a legal order from a competent court. Centre-wise vacancy and reservation details are displayed at the Vikas Bhawan, Tehsil, Vikas Khand and Child Development Project Officer offices across the district.
