UPPSC PCS 2026 — Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services, Deputy Collector, DSP & More (500 Posts)

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services (PCS) Examination 2026 notification on 25 June 2026 for approximately 500 Group A and Group B administrative posts. This is one of the most prestigious state civil services examinations in India — equivalent to UPSC CSE at the state level. Posts include Deputy Collector (SDM), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Block Development Officer (BDO), Naib Tehsildar, Commercial Tax Officer, District Supply Officer, Assistant Commissioner, Excise Inspector, Deputy Jailor, and other top administrative positions. Selection through three stages — Preliminary Examination (06 December 2026), Main Examination, and Interview/Personality Test. OTR (One Time Registration) on UPPSC portal is mandatory before applying.

1. Visit uppsc.up.nic.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR) if not done.
2. Login using OTR Number and password.
3. Select "PCS Examination 2026" and fill the application form.

4 Upload photo, signature, and required documents.

1. Pay ₹125 (Gen/OBC) or ₹65 (SC/ST) online and submit before 27 July 2026.
