UPSC ESE Mains Result 2026 — Engineering Services Written Result Out

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) Mains Written Result 2026 on 24 July 2026 on its official website upsc.gov.in. The result, published under Advertisement No. 02/2026 ENGG for 474 posts, lists the roll numbers and names of candidates who have qualified the written Mains stage and are eligible for the next round. The ESE Mains examination was conducted on 21 June 2026. The Engineering Services Examination recruits Group A and Group B officers across the Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics & Telecommunication engineering disciplines for various central government departments and services. Candidates can download the official result PDF and search their roll number to check their qualifying status. Candidates who have qualified the Mains written examination will now be called for the Interview/Personality Test as per the UPSC schedule, which will be announced separately. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Mains examination and the Interview/Personality Test combined.
