Overview
The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the notification (Advt. No. 06-Exam/2026) for 2,759 Agriculture Technical Assistant (AGTA) Group C posts in the UP Agriculture Department. This is a Main Examination open only to candidates who cleared the UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid score card. Selection is through PET-2025 score shortlisting, a Mains written exam covering agriculture-related subjects, and document verification.
Eligibility
* B.Sc in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Forestry, OR B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering, OR a 4-year degree in Community Science/Home Science from a recognized Agricultural University.
* Must hold a valid UPSSSC PET-2025 score card (mandatory — no other route).
* Age 21–40 years as on 01 July 2026 (relaxation per UP rules).
