Overview
UPSSSC has released the notification (Advt. No. 14-Exam/2026, dated 3 June 2026) for 1,829 posts of Auditor (Lekha Pareekshak) and Assistant Accountant (Sahayak Lekhakaar) across 22 UP government departments. Note: Applications open on 14 July 2026 and close on 3 August 2026 — the apply window is not open yet. This is a Main Examination open only to PET-2025–qualified candidates; selection is via the Main Exam and document verification.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree from any recognised university
- NIELIT 'O' Level Certificate or equivalent computer certificate
- Valid UPSSSC PET 2025 Score Card is mandatory — only PET 2025 qualified candidates may apply for the Main Examination
- Post-wise and department-wise eligibility varies; refer to the official notification
Age Limit
- 21 to 40 years as on 01 July 2026
- Age relaxation for OBC, SC, ST and other reserved categories as per Government of Uttar Pradesh rules
Eligibility
- B.Com (Commerce graduation) from a recognized university, with accountancy knowledge at accountant level.
- An 'O' Level computer certificate from a government-recognized institution.
- A valid UPSSSC PET-2025 score card (mandatory).
- Age 21–40 years as on 01 July 2026 (relaxation per UP rules).

Salary
Pay Level 5 — ₹29,200 to ₹92,300 per month (7th Pay Commission Pay Matrix) plus Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Travel Allowance, Medical Allowance and other UP Government admissible allowances. Approximate in-hand salary: ₹41,000 to ₹48,000 per month depending on posting location and city classification.
How to Apply
- From 14 July 2026, go to upsssc.gov.in and log in with your PET-2025 registration number.
- Open Advt. No. 14-Exam/2026 (Auditor & Assistant Accountant).
- Fill the form, upload photo and signature, and pay the ₹25 processing fee.
- Submit before 03 August 2026. Fee/correction allowed till 10 August 2026.
